Life Outside Of Work
Outside of my work as a radiation therapist and intern, I enjoy spending time doing things that help me stay balanced and connected. Staying active is important to me, and I enjoy exercising as a way to support both my physical and mental well-being.
I also value spending quality time with close friends and family, as these relationships are an important part of my life. In my free time, I enjoy going for walks, dining on delicious food, travelling, and discovering the best waterparks and waterslides.
I’m also a big animal lover, especially cats and dogs, and I always enjoy spending time around animals whenever I can. Recently, I’ve taken up building LEGO, which I’ve discovered is a surprisingly relaxing and creative way to unwind.
I support teens, adults, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, difficulty managing emotions, addiction, chronic illness & pain (incl. cancer), grief and loss, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. My goal is to provide a supportive and compassionate space where you can feel understood, explore your experiences, and develop healthier ways of coping.
For over 20 years, I’ve supported clients through some of life’s most difficult moments. This experience has given me a deeper understanding of how our emotional, psychological, physical, and relational well-being are connected. I bring this holistic perspective into my work, helping clients better understand themselves, build on their strengths, and make meaningful changes in their lives.
I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP). My clinical work is informed by evidence-based approaches, including CBT, Mindfulness, EMDR, Gottman Couples Therapy and more. I strive to meet each client with empathy, curiosity, and respect, recognizing that every person’s story and healing process is unique.
My understanding of these challenges is also shaped by personal experiences with grief and loss, addiction, depression, and relationship challenges. These experiences have deepened my empathy and strengthened my belief in our capacity to heal and grow.
Together we will build insight, develop practical holistic coping skills, and strengthen your ability to manage challenges and move forward with resilience and greater confidence.
