Areas of Focus

My path into therapy is rooted in my own experience with loss, which shaped a deep understanding of how complex and personal healing can be. It also sparked a genuine commitment to supporting others as they navigate grief, life transitions, and the emotional challenges that can feel overwhelming to face alone.

I bring over 14 years of experience supporting  individuals, children, adolescents, and families through emotionally challenging and traumatic life experiences. This work gave me a strong foundation in understanding attachment and relationship dynamics, self-esteem, emotional regulation, the impact of adversity and trauma on mental health, and resilience. It also deepened my respect for each person’s story and the courage it takes to seek support.

My counselling approach is grounded in kindness, humility, and respect. I work collaboratively with clients to create a space where your voice is valued and your needs guide the process. I draw from person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and incorporate approaches such as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and internal family systems (IFS) to support meaningful and lasting change.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my family enjoying delicious meals or watching sports. I like to go on walks and runs, which fuel my physical and emotional health. I have a passion for music and find so much joy when I discover new artists to add to my music library.
