Frequently Asked Questions
What is the cost of a therapy session?
Youth or adult sessions are $200 for 50 minutes.
Couples therapy sessions are $250 for 50 minutes.
Sessions are offered via a secure online telemedicine platform. Receipts are provided for insurance.
Are sessions covered by OHIP?
Psychotherapy sessions are not covered under OHIP. However, many extended health benefits/employer plans cover psychotherapy provided by a Registered Social Worker (RSW) or Registered Psychotherapist (RP). We encourage you to contact your provider about coverage for psychotherapy to confirm eligibility and rates.
What can I expect from the consultation?
Your therapist will invite you to share what brings you to therapy, current challenges, and your goals. You can ask questions, explore any concerns, and see if the therapist’s approach feels like a good fit. The aim is to get a sense of what working together will be like.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
There’s no “wrong” reason to start. Therapy can help with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship strain, or unhealthy coping, and it also supports personal growth, stress management, and self-understanding. We offer warm, trauma-informed, mind-body psychotherapy online so you can move forward at a pace that feels right.
What if I need to cancel an appointment?
We require 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, are charged the full session fee unless alternate arrangements have been made. Thank you for valuing the time reserved for you.
